BRQ and a telecom carrier automate verification of nearly 1 million documents with GenAI

One of Brazil's largest telecom carriers needed to verify documentation submitted for corporate client registration, a manual process that occupied around 200 outsourced employees responsible for reading documents, checking the accuracy of information and filling out the required forms. The workflow was slow, costly and kept these professionals from being allocated to more strategic activities. To automate this step, the carrier partnered with BRQ.

In partnership with the carrier, BRQ developed Doc Checker AI based on OpenAI's GPT-4, integrating Generative AI with OCR (optical character recognition) and RPA (robotic process automation). The solution was designed to analyze nearly 1 million documents, reading, analyzing and comparing files with precision.

The implementation reached an average accuracy of 90%, significantly reduced back-office time and costs, increased productivity and freed up the 200 employees for higher-value activities, delivering both operational and strategic gains.
